Summer Season Half Day Prep Camp
Evaluation season is fast approaching, and the difference between making the top team or falling behind often comes down to preparation.
To give every player the best chance to succeed, this comprehensive 2-week Evaluation Prep Program builds the skills, confidence, and habits needed to perform when evaluations begin.
Week 1 – High Performance Centre Development Half Day Camp (4 Days)
August 18–21 – 1:00–4:00 pm
Week 1 is focused on building a strong foundation for on-ice success. Over four days, players will develop:
- Skating mechanics, stride efficiency, and posture
- Shooting mechanics and puck-handling fundamentals
- Hockey-specific speed, agility, balance, coordination, and body control
- Explosive power and athletic movement in the gym
By sharpening these fundamentals off the ice, players are better prepared to transfer those skills into real game situations.
Week 2 – On-Ice Evaluation Camp (5 Days)
August 24th-28th
Week 2 brings everything together with five consecutive on-ice sessions. Players apply what they learned in Week 1 while continuing to refine skating, puck skills, shooting, decision-making, and compete level in a fast-paced, game-focused environment.
The goal is for every player to step onto the ice for evaluations feeling prepared, confident, and ready to perform.
The 3-Station Elite Rotation
Station 1 – Skating Treadmill
Focus: Skating mechanics, stride efficiency, posture, and acceleration.
In a controlled environment, every part of the skating stride can be isolated, helping players develop stronger pushes, better balance, and explosive first-step quickness.
Station 2 – Synthetic Shooting & Skills Zone
Focus: Shooting, puck handling, passing, and puck control.
With hundreds of quality repetitions each session, players refine shooting mechanics, increase shot power and accuracy, and develop quicker hands and stronger puck control.
Station 3 – High Performance Gym
Focus: Athletic development.
Players work through hockey-specific exercises designed to improve speed, agility, coordination, balance, body control, and explosive power—building stronger, faster, more athletic hockey players.
A supervised snack break is included each day to help players refuel before finishing their final station. We ask parents to pack a snack and drinks for your player. Biosteel drinks and Snacks will be available for purchase.
